Dozen Photo Challenge

This photo is my favorite from this challenge, and the one I believe was my most successful. It is clear that the lighting is the main focus of this photo, and it adds a dramatic effect to the subject.
The most challenging aspect of this assignment was finding subjects that I thought were interesting under the circumstances that fit the technique I was looking for. I think in the future I will take more pictures for each technique, instead of focusing on finding the technique with one or two subjects/locations.

Hi Jill, this is Nikki! I love this picture! I agree with your comment about the perspective creating a personal feeling with the subject. Although the lighting was not the focus of this photo, it definitely does add to its character. I also love the blue sky and clouds in the background, it adds to the happy feeling throughout. Hi, Nikki! I really like the way you captured this image. The hard light coming through the barn creates a comforting atmosphere. The contrast between the dark and light in the photo adds depth to the image. The sheep placed near the fence serves as a natural focal point and allows the viewer to look at both the sheep and the field beyond. The visual elements that you used in this image helps depict a peaceful ambiance, making me feel calm. Great job!
